He then reminds us that this same Church is the last of the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation; Laodicea. Lukewarm and filled with indifference, it will be shaken and purged. It's ranks largely replaced by true believers of every Christian persuasion. All of God's true believers will be of one accord, following Divine light from His Holy Word, the Bible, before it's all said and done for this old world. Read how we can remain a part of the Remnant through a personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. How those now outside of the Remnant can become a part of it. And what movement now consitutes the Remnant; God's beacon of light for these last days. Extremely sobering and eye-opening.

An excellant perspective of the Remnant concept of the people of God. CG is an excellant writer. The book is well referenced and written so that you don't have to be a Phd to understand.

A thought-provoking read!

I absolutely loved this book. Not only it has a balanced and well thought out view on the Adventism but I find Goldstein to be hilarious. Several jokes in the book cracked me up. One of my favorite quotes that I shared with quite a few:'No doubt, the church is not what it should be. It never has been, not now, not one hundred years ago, nor twenty-five hundred years ago. Thus, those who feel it's their calling to find fault with the church will never be out of a job because there's plenty of dirt to go around...Those, however, who feel that their calling is to be like Jesus will never be out of work, either.'This is a must-read for all SDA Christians. And beyond.

I was growing weary of the deeds of our people. This book has brought back my focus. God has certainly inspired this book. God bless you Clifford
